The Masovian Voivodship covers the area of 35.6 thousand. km2, which makes them the largest in the country. At the same time, it belongs to the most internally diversified voivodships in Poland. The Warsaw agglomeration plays a dominant socio-economic role and serves as a transport hub for Europe. However, part of the voivodship is characterized by indicators of economic development below the national average.
